Based in USA's Heartland, family founded and operated
Highly responsive and attentive small business, driven to help manufacturing startups succeed by building cost-effective solutions to unique manufacturing problems
Our capabilities are always expanding in order to provide more precise, robust and cost-effective machines and services
We understand all too well how difficult it is to find quality machines and tools that are affordable, and made within the U.S.A. It is our mission to break down barriers to entry, both in cost and quality, which stand in the way of small businesses looking to manufacture their own goods. We would like to bring back the era of machines, tools, and fine American products that last a lifetime, starting with yours.

What types of parts does KRS make?
We are equipped to make custom gantry systems, custom precision gimbals for multi-axis manipulation, custom work-holding jigs and clamps, and even custom stepper motors or other types of actuators. We can also design and build all of the electronics to get your machines moving the way you need them to. By no means are we limited to the aforementioned types of robot parts, but these are the basis of many manufacturing machines; KRS also works with basic service robots and bio-inspired AI ready platforms. If you have basically anything in mind that we can make for you, send us an email!
Coming soon:
KRS will be launching our Clockworks line of 5-axis CNC machines in 2026 or 2027. The Clockworks CNC machine is designed to be highly modular, scalable and customizable, and built rigid enough to cut mild steel. Though the machines are inherently 5-axis, they are also capable of carrying out 3-axis jobs with a simple bolt-on modification. The base flagship model sits inside an 18" square footprint, has an approximately 12" cubic workspace for 5-axis jobs (6" Z for 3-axis), and will be offered at a price comparable to (or better than) other types of machines being offered from overseas, such as the Carvera Makera series, or the Nestworks CNC, both featured on Kickstarter. The Clockworks CNC will be offered at various base sizes from our flagship model, along with upgrade packages which support multiple build plates plus multiple and simultaneous end effectors, as well as open-source designs to expand the build area and functionality using materials that are widely available and can be fabricated using the machine itself. The machine and upgrade packages will be available at our own retail sites, but may be offered through other US suppliers too. If you would like to learn more about the Clockworks 5-axis CNC or are interested in becoming a sales partner, send us an email!

Having a robotics manufacturing facility like Kansas Robotics Supply Inc near the heart of the U.S. can bring down the cost of building up other types of manufacturing facilities and rapid prototyping labs within the region. Investment in KRS is an investment in U.S. manufacturing.
KRS will utilize local labor and talent, as well as remote engineers and other positions to be filled by skilled workers inside the United States. Use of remote workers vastly increases the quantity of talented experts available to help us with our mission. We also intend to provide our remote engineers with resources to help them build up their own rapid prototyping capabilities, in order to scale up our ability to support faster development cycles on multiple products originating from clients nationwide. An investment in KRS is an investment in U.S. workers, and U.S. innovation.
KRS will carry out novel research in the realm of AI-ready platform design, as well as modular, low-cost, and alternative actuation and sensing solutions. Kansas is designated an EPSCoR jurisdiction (Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) by the National Science Foundation, and the KRS research team will be competing for these types of grants. An investment in KRS is an investment in U.S. science.
The company and research is born from a desire to facilitate the open-source evolution of artificial intelligence on mobile robots, by setting up manufacturing for a line of low-cost modular AI-ready physical platforms, as well as modular robot parts and software products which can be used to speed up DIY/research community development and prototyping. An investment in KRS is an investment in the future of robotics and AI.
